TFG Medical Aid Scheme members who have been diagnosed with cancer can register on the Oncology Programme, where you will get support and access to reliable information on cancer and what steps to take to manage this disease.
- On TFG Health, cover for oncology is unlimited, covered as PMB level of care via the Designated Service Provider for approved cancer treatment.
- On TFG Health Plus, approved treatment is limited to R650 000 per beneficiary per year rolling 12-month period.
We cover chemotherapy and oncology related medicines up to the Scheme Medicine Rate. We pay for treatment In-Hospital, consultations, radiotherapy, radiology, and pathology, scopes and scans at 100% of the Scheme Rate, subject to the oncology benefit. We cover all cancer related care within this programme.
To register for the Oncology Programme. you or your treating healthcare professionals must send us a copy of your test results confirming your diagnosis via email to oncology@tfgmedicalaidscheme.co.za
